Barcelona head into tonight’s match against Espanyol needing a win to be crowned La Liga champions, following Real Madrid’s victory over Mallorca.
If they beat their local rivals, the Blaugrana will be confirmed as league champions with two matches still remaining, concluding the season with a domestic treble.
If successful, it would be Barcelona’s 28th La Liga title and their fifth in the last ten years. Alongside lifting the trophy, the Catalan giants also stand to earn a significant financial reward for securing the league championship.
Indeed, as per SPORT, while the official figure has not been confirmed, it is estimated that the La Liga champion receives between €60 million and €90 million – meaning Barcelona could pocket all that money once they secure the title.
This amount comes from a combination of television rights, performance-based bonuses, and qualification for European competitions.

The last time Barcelona won the league, back in 2022/23 under Xavi Hernandez, they earned just over €61 million from the title.
That amount would be added to the €9 million that Barça earned from winning the Spanish Super Cup and the €1.2 million for lifting the Copa del Rey.
On top of that, Barcelona brought in at least €83 million from their run in the UEFA Champions League where they were eliminated at the semi-final stage by Inter Milan.
All in all, this season has turned out to be a hugely successful one for Joan Laporta & co. on the pitch and on the financial front as well.
