An insight into the financial reward to have been coming the way of La Liga giants Real Madrid for their efforts on the continent thus far this season has on Saturday been provided.

Real, of course, are fresh off keeping alive hopes of retaining their Champions League crown in midweek.

After seeing their Last-16 tie with city rivals Atlético sent to a penalty shootout, Los Blancos held their nerve, to book a spot in the competition’s quarter-finals.

And, owing to as much, the brass back at the Santiago Bernabéu added to their bank accounts once more.

As revealed by Marca, Real Madrid received €12.5 million for securing their place in the last eight of the Champions League.

This adds to previous season winnings of €37.2 million (league phase), €1 million for the playoffs, and €11 million for reaching the Round-of-16.

This makes for total earnings of €61.7 million in Europe thus far in 2024/25.
