Derby have sold out their allocation for their Championship opener away at Stoke City.
Derby County have confirmed that they have sold out their away allocation for their Championship opener away at Stoke City this weekend.
The Rams confirmed the news of their sell-out via X, as they hope to begin the campaign with a win over Stoke in front of a packed-out away end.
Derby have been particularly busy during this summer window with incomings, having confirmed eight signings so far, with RB Salzburg midfielder Bobby Clark's impending loan move from the Austrian side looking to be the ninth before the season opener.
Derby began the campaign under John Eustace carrying much more optimism than the season prior under newly-appointed MK Dons boss Paul Warne, with Eustace being afforded much more legroom to work with in the transfer market than his predecessor.
Having just about confirmed survival on the final day with a goalless draw at home to Stoke, fans from across the Championship and the rest of the EFL were full of praise for Eustace and the job he did in keeping the Rams afloat.
Backed by a sold-out away crowd, Eustace will be hoping that all of his new signings will gel quickly to grab what would be an excellent three points in the season opener.
Derby have confirmed that 3,394 Rams fans are set to make the relatively short journey along the A50 on Saturday.
USMNT international Patrick Agyemang will be absent for the season opener after routine surgery on a long-standing hernia problem following his £6.5 million switch from MLS outfit Charlotte.
This leaves Kayden Jackson and new signings Carlton Morris or Rhian Brewster to lead the line at the bet365 Stadium this Saturday, though Eustace will believe there is more than enough firepower in this area to win them the game.
Derby rounded off their final pre-season game with a 2-0 victory at Pride Park over Greek side Atromitos with goals from Corey Blackett-Taylor from the penalty spot and Kenzo Goudmijn directly from a corner.
Eustace will be hoping that they can carry this positive momentum into Saturday and was full of positivity following his side's performance over the Greek side.
However, Stoke will be hoping to carry positive momentum into Saturday themselves, with a win at home to Premier League side Burnley on Saturday to round off their pre-season for the summer.
Whilst Saturday's result remains in doubt until the final whistle is blown, what won't be in doubt is the sold-out away end Derby will be taking to the Potteries, and they will no doubt create a lot of noise as they look to cheer their side onto what is hoped will be an exciting season for the Rams.
