We asked ChatGPT to predict how many points Notts County will gain in Martin Paterson's first month as head coach.

With the EFL fixtures released last week, plenty of focus has now shifted to August as many clubs look to get the best possible start to their respective seasons.

One of those is Notts County, who will surely be gunning for promotion this season, following two years of narrowly missing out on a return to the third tier of English football.

The Magpies recently appointed former Burnley forward Martin Paterson as their new head coach, in an exciting appointment that could be a match made in heaven.

It was revealed last Thursday that the 38-year-old will make his debut in the dugout at Newport County on the opening day of the season, before managing his first game at Meadow Lane the following week, when Salford City come to town.
