EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea already agree terms for player to sign in the summer!

It was easy for Chelsea as we all expected it to be, but they still needed to do the job and be professional, and that’s exactly what they did with every single player putting in 100% to make sure The Blues eased past Shamrock.

Chelsea have an array of young talents in the squad right now with some of them coming through the academy, but others having been signed in from other clubs.

Former Chelsea star Joe Cole cannot believe that Barcelona allowed striker Marc Guiu to leave and join Chelsea in the summer, and the fee they paid was even just an absolute bargain.

The Spanish youngster scored his first senior hat-trick last night to help Chelsea see off Shamrock Rovers, and Cole has been raving about him and predicts a big future for him in a couple of years time.

How have Barcelona let him go?

“My thought with Guiu is, how have Barcelona let him go?” former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole told TNT Sports last night in quotes picked up by The BBC. “This kid – in two years’ time – could be an established number nine.”

“I think Barcelona have made a mistake.”

Guiu was on fire for Chelsea last week as well bagging two goals in their last Conference League game.

This is why this competition can actually be really positive for a big club to play in, as it gives chances for youngsters to play matches and get minutes in the senior side.
