According to a report from SPORT, it has come to light that Barcelona are working on a unique plan to retain Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the next season, even if they fail to register the two players for this season.
Despite their confidence that the registration issue will be resolved in the coming hours, the club has taken precautions and involved their legal team to explore all possible scenarios.
In that regard, the club is hopeful that there won’t be any issues with registering the players, but they are also preparing for the worst-case outcome.
If, despite their optimism and arguments, the registration of Olmo and Victor is not approved by La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Barcelona have outlined a plan to keep both players on their books.
The club would initially approach the players to agree on a termination of their current contracts. This solution would allow the players to move to a new club without any bureaucratic obstacles, as they would be free to negotiate future transfers.

The termination would only last for six months, with both players being available for re-signing on June 30.
In the event that this worst-case scenario is confirmed by La Liga and the RFEF, Barcelona are still determined to bring Olmo and Victor back to the club once the current season concludes.
Although this plan is currently on the back burner, the club has already obtained the approval of its legal team to proceed with this approach if necessary.
The key to this strategy is the full cooperation of the players and their representatives. One thing is clear: Barcelona have no intention of parting with the talents of Olmo and Victor under any circumstances.
The club’s commitment to keeping these players is evident, and their efforts to find a solution, even if it means temporarily letting them go, show how much they value their contribution to the team.
Barcelona’s focus is on ensuring that Olmo and Victor remain part of their long-term plans, regardless of any challenges faced in the short term.
