Estevao Willian has revealed what Chelsea legend Thiago Silva told him about the club after he played against the veteran Brazilian.
Chelsea officially announced Estevao on Tuesday evening having agreed a deal for the teenager worth up to £51.4m with Palmeiras last summer.
It’s been a long wait for Estevao and fans, but supporters could see him in action against Bayer Leverkusen on Friday or AC Milan on Sunday, with both games at Stamford Bridge.
There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the teenager, and Chelsea fans have already experienced first hand what he’s capable of.
Estevao scored against the Blues at the Club World Cup in what quite fittingly turned out to be his final game for Palmeiras.

The youngster is already a full Brazil international, and he’s expected to be part of the first team squad and compete for minutes this coming season.
Estevao has already revealed he used to watch a lot of Eden Hazard when he was at Chelsea, and he’s now revealed what another legend Silva has told him about the club.
“After I had signed for Chelsea and in the final game of 2024, I played against Thiago Silva,” he told Chelsea’s website.
“He came and talked to me. He said I was going to love the club, which has an incredible structure and is an incredible club. And now [I am here], I can see how amazing this club is.”
Estevao isn’t the only young Brazilian Chelsea have high hopes for, with Andrey Santos also falling into that category after an exceptional loan spell at Strasbourg.
