Hamza Igamane, currently under contract with Glasgow Rangers, has taken a decisive step towards joining Lille. He now has a personal agreement with LOSC, which helped the two clubs find common ground.

In search of a second striker to support Olivier Giroud for what promises to be a long season—with both the league and the Europa League—Lille has set its sights on Hamza Igamane. The French club has been monitoring the 22-year-old Moroccan international for several weeks, after his arrival in Europe last summer from FAR Rabat. With 16 goals and 3 assists in 46 matches across all competitions last season, Hamza Igamane can play as a centre-forward, but is also comfortable dropping deeper behind the main striker or operating from the left flank.

Following the green light from the Moroccan, Glasgow Rangers and LOSC reached an agreement on the morning of Wednesday, August 27, 2025, according to Footmercato. The transfer fee is reported to exceed €10 million, and Igamane is set to sign a five-year contract with Lille, running until 2030.
