Teenage Türkiye star Arda Güler was one of the standout performers at Euro 2024 last summer, but that has not yet translated into much playing time at his club.

The youngster had only played 266 minutes in LaLiga for Real Madrid before tonight's game with Leganés, with three starts and five substitute appearances.

Fans had called for his inclusion in the side, and this evening Carlo Ancelotti obliged with a role in the starting XI.

Güler has repaid that faith so far, going close to scoring a wonder goal in the first half, and displaying his skills with a classy nutmeg.
