The board at La Liga outfit Girona have this week agreed on the terms of a big-money sale to the Premier League.
That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Ladislav Krejčí as the player primed to take his talents to England.
Versatile defender Krejčí for his part only made the move to the Estadi Montilivi in the summer of 2024, from his home country of the Czech Republic.
And despite the struggles of his new club as a collective, the 26-year-old for the most part went on to impress in his first year in Spain.
Such efforts did not go unnoticed elsewhere in Europe, with a number of clubs understood to have expressed an interest in luring Krejčí away from Catalunya over recent weeks.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media over the last 24 hours is anything to go by, then one such suitor now appear to have done enough to bring the 20-time capped international in for the season ahead.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:
‘Understand Wolves have agreed deal for Ladislav Krejci with Girona! Club to club deal done for fee close to €35m as total package. Krejci already said yes.’
