Yann Bisseck says that the Inter Milan are “not thinking about Napoli” after yesterday evening’s 3-1 Serie A win over Cagliari.

The German spoke to SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, after yesterday’s match. He also predicted that the Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Bayern Munich will be “tough for them, and for us.”

Inter Milan beat Cagliari in Serie A yesterday evening.

The Nerazzurri managed a 3-1 win. They were 2-0 up at halftime, and then conceded early in the second half. However, unlike in recent matches against Udinese and Parma, they scored again and then saw out the match.

It was defender Yann Bisseck who headed home from a corner for Inter’s all-important third goal.

Inter’s win was a big result in the context of the Serie A title race.

The three points taken against Cagliari mean that, for the time being, Inter are six points ahead of Napoli at the top of the league table.

That really piles the pressure on Napoli ahead of tomorrow’s match against Empoli.

Inter defender Yann Bisseck said after yesterday’s match that “we knew Cagliari are good on the counter.”

“So we had to stay focused.”

“We played our game very well,” he continued. “And we’re very happy.”

Meanwhile, Bisseck made clear that “we’re not thinking about Napoli.”

“We just have to do our bit, and play our matches. Then we’ll see what Napoli do.”

Then, Bisseck also gave his thoughts on Inter’s upcoming Champions League quarterfinal second leg match against Bayern Munich.

The German said that Bayern “are a very strong team.”

“We have to start thinking about facing them,” he continued.

“We played a good match in the first leg. And I think that in the second leg in our stadium, it will be tough for them, but also for us.”

“We’ll prepare for it,” Bisseck added. “And then we’ll see what happens.”
