Gerard Piqué’s two-word response to Barcelona winning La Liga | OneFootball

Barcelona legend Gerard Piqué was quick to take to social media, to celebrate his former club’s latest La Liga title triumph.

Barca, of course, are fresh off an evening to remember on Thursday.

In the knowledge that a victory would see their status as Spanish champions secured, Hansi Flick’s troops made the short trip across Catalunya, for a meeting with city rivals Espanyol.

When all was said and done, secure all three points is precisely what the Blaugrana managed, courtesy of goals on the part of Lamine Yamal, and Fermín López.

Messages of congratulations, in turn, have since come pouring in from across the world of football.

And as alluded to above, amongst the first to make his delight with the outcome of this La Liga season known was Gerard Piqué.

Taking to his official ‘X’ account in the aftermath of the full-time whistle at RCDE Stadium, Barcelona icon Piqué wrote:
