AC Milan will have a decision to make regarding Milos Kerkez as he continues to impress with his new club AZ Alkmaar, a report claims.
Kerkez was signed by Milan from Hungary back in 2021 but he ended up staying for less than 18 months as he chose to take another step to the Eredivsie, with the teenager revealing afterwards that he felt he deserved a chance in the first team with the Rossoneri.
Since joining AZ, Kerkez has been able to demonstrate his quality as he is now a regular starter for them at 19 (with two goals in 21 league games thus far this season) and he has also made his debut for the Hungarian national team.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Real Sociedad and Benfica want to sign Kerkez having been observing his development closely. Alkmaar bought him from Milan for €2m but as part of the deal the Rossoneri reserved the right to match any future offer that comes in for him.
The asking price of Kerkez is now somewhere around €15m but with other European clubs keen and Theo Hernandez still the established starter at left-back, it certainly feels unlikely that Milan will invest to bring him back.
