Gasperini leads Roma’s manager shortlist | OneFootball

Gian Piero Gasperini remains the big favorite to take over Roma ahead of next season.

As reported by Corriere della Sera, in a search that includes many different candidates such as Montella, Allegri, Sarri and Pioli, Gasperini’s name appears to be the first one on the capital club’s shortlist.

The newspaper reports that Gasperini enjoys the esteem of Ranieri, with whom he has had discussions in recent weeks, and above all of the Friedkins.

Atalanta have already made it clear that they will not stop the veteran technician from leaving.

The only obstacle in Roma’s way could be competition from other clubs.

Milan, Juventus and Napoli have all registered interest in the Atalanta boss.
