The Rossoneri have already shortlisted Igli Tare, Paratci, Thiago Scuro, and Markus Krösche, but according to Gazzetta, Bayer Leverkusen’s Kim Falkenberg is a fifth candidate in contention.

Ex-Lazio director Tare was reported to be Milan’s primary option after talks with Gerry Cardinale and Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this month, but Furlani will have the final say.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Paratici is now ‘leading the race’ to become the new Milan sporting director.

The former Juventus director was spotted at dinner with Massimiliano Allegri earlier this week, fuelling speculation of the Italian coach’s return to San Siro in 2025-26.
