There was plenty of fun, determination and pace on the training ground on Thursday as Eintracht’s preparations for Saturday’s clash with Mönchengladbach entered the final straight.
There are just two days to go until Bundesliga football returns to Deutsche Bank Park for Eintracht Frankfurt’s second home match of the season, with Borussia Mönchengladbach the visitors to the city forest on Saturday 21 September. Dino Toppmöller and his charges have only 48 more hours to prepare for the clash with the Foals, but the head coach had 20 outfield players and three goalkeepers at his disposal on Thursday as he put his squad through their paces in an intense session. Oscar Højlund and Kevin Trapp continued their recovery from injury in the treatment room.
Countdown to Matchday 4 is on
Eintracht will train again on Friday before facing Gladbach, who have started their league campaign with one win from three games, at 18:30 CEST on Saturday. The Eagles are hoping to claim another three points after recent victories over VfL Wolfsburg and TSG Hoffenheim.
