Full-back Neville leaves London City Lionesses | OneFootball

London City Lionesses have announced the news that full-back Grace Neville has left the club.

The Pride revealed the player’s departure via a post on their official club website earlier today.

The 25-year-old has been with London City Lionesses from the very start of their journey in 2019. She TUPE transferred from the Millwall Lionesses club at the end of the 2018/2019 season. Neville has been a solid performer for The Pride throughout her time at the club. She enjoyed the perfect ending to her spell at the club when London City Lionesses were crowned Barclays WSL2 champions back in May.

In total, Neville has made around 100 appearances for London City Lionesses in all competitions. She has played under nine different head coaches in her time with the club and has made her contribution to the growth of the London City Lionesses brand. The player leaves Hayes Lane very much as a club legend.

Neville’s departure means that there are now no remaining members of the original London City Lionesses team at the club. Lucy Fitzgerald was the only other surviving member of that side but she left the club at the end of the season when The Pride announced their released list.
