According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus will be looking for at least four reinforcements this summer, including one striker, and Bologna’s Santiago Castro has emerged as a new target up front.

Juventus are preparing for the Club World Cup on the pitch, but new GM Damiel Comolli is also working behind the scenes for new signings.

First of all, the Bianconeri will need to hire a new sporting director and technical director, as Comolli explained on Tuesday.

According to Gazzetta, Juventus will be looking for a new defender, two midfielders, and one forward this summer.

As for the backline, Leonardo Balerdi is one of the Old Lady’s primary targets. Despite Roberto De Zerbi’s reluctance to sell the Argentine, Juventus will attempt to offer Nico Gonzalez or Samuel Mbangala, along with a cash proposal.

Other centre-backs on the Bianconeri’s agenda are Giovanni Leoni of Parma and Fiorentina’s Pietro Comuzzo.

Inter’s Davide Frattesi and Florentino (Benfica) remain possible targets in midfield as Newcastle are unwilling to sell Sandro Tonali.

Lazio’s Nuno Tavares and Girona’s Miguel Gutierrez have been monitored for the left wing-back role, while Santiago Castro (Bologna) has emerged as a new target in attack.
