In their final match before Christmas, the Rossoneri will be looking to return to winning ways in the league when they take on Hellas Verona away from home on matchday 17 in Serie A. Coach Fonseca previewed the clash from Milanello during his pre-match press conference, shown live on the AC Milan Official App and Milan TV.

IMPORTANCE OF THE GAME "Since I've been here, I've said that every game is important, it will surely be difficult against Verona, we have worked to come to this game in a state to win".

THEO'S CONDITION "I spoke with him before the game, for me the situation is easy to explain. He has played a lot, he was on international duty, he is not in the best condition. For me, he is a very important player, this is not at all a punishment but a way to help him refind the right form and to soon see the best left-back back at his best".

TEAM MORALE "There is a good atmosphere in the group, this week was normal, we have worked well and when it's like this, it's easier to train. I have never felt the squad to be without trust or a desire to work. But we are aware that in this moment, the most important thing is the results".

GROWTH MARGINS "We can grow a lot in terms of results and I am sure that we will do so. We are always working to improve the errors made in games, so far, however, the results have not reflected how much the squad has progressed in various ways. I don't feel at risk. It doesn't seem like our problem is not tactical or technical, it's a mental question. I honestly don't recall defeats due to tactics or set-up. This week, I watched all the goals that we have conceded and I have no doubts that the main issue is mental".

THE JANUARY WINDOW "It's likely early to address this topic, we are talking and always working on this and the Club is monitoring the market, if it will be necessary to make a move, we will be ready".

JIMÉNEZ AND YOUNGSTERS "This season, Torriani, Bartesaghi, Jiménez, Liberali, Camarda and Zeroli have all already made their debuts. Some of them can play and I think it's a good opportunity, several of them will be with us in Verona and some will play".
