Youssouf Fofana says it’s better to win than to play well after the win against Monza.
Milan beat Monza 1-0 last night thanks to a Tijjani Reijnders goal in the 43′ minute. After the match, summer signing Fofana, who has become an undisputed starter for coach Paulo Fonseca, spoke to Sky:
Was it a good Milan?“It was not a good Milan, but against Napoli it was a good Milan and we didn’t win. In the end the most important thing is to win, we are happy for that.”
Is it a dream to play against Real Madrid?“It’s not a dream. The dream was to become a professional football player, now it’s a job. Real Madrid have won a lot of Champions Leagues but it doesn’t matter. We have to give our all on the pitch.”
Fofana also spoke to DAZN about Tuesday’s match: “Real Madrid? For us it’s a great match, we also need to win for the standings. We need to have the same ambitions as them. Let’s see how it goes and hope it goes well for us.”
