Having started their pre-season on Sunday, FC Barcelona are in their sixth day of the preparatory camp before flying to Asia for a few friendly matches.
Manager Hansi Flick has 36 players at his disposal, including Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is currently not training with the group due to a back issue.
Of the 36, there are several young talents from the club’s youth and reserve team ranks, hoping to make the cut for the pre-season tour of Asia.
Now, according to Que T’hi Jugues, Hansi Flick is very happy with what he has seen from three Barcelona youngsters – Jan Virgili, Jofre Torrents, and Pedro Fernandez ‘Dro’.
The report further adds that the Barcelona first-team manager has been most impressed by 18-year-old Virgili, who has been at the club for just one season.

Virgili played a key role in Barcelona Juvenil A’s treble success in the 2024/25 season and even made his Barça Atletic debut.
A left-winger by trade – a position that the Blaugrana are looking to strengthen – the teenage gem seems to have made a big impression on Flick and appears set to be in the squad for the pre-season tour.
As for Torrents, the left-back is rated very highly within Barcelona, with the coaching staff putting him on a special training plan to improve his physical strength.
Dro, too, is one of the players who generate a lot of excitement at the club. Just 17 years old, the attacking midfielder was a part of the treble-winning Barça Juvenil A team this past season and trained under Flick on a few occasions.
All three seem to have caught the eye of the German tactician, with Virgili impressing him the most.
