First group session at the PSG Campus | OneFootball

After welcoming back the players who took part in the international break yesterday, the Paris squad held their first group training session at the PSG Campus on Tuesday 18 July.

Before the start of this first training session, Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the staff, players and employees of the club were keen to show their support for the Spanish goalkeeper once again. To mark the occasion, all those present took a moment to pause side by side before the start of training.

AN - ALMOST - COMPLETE GROUP

After addressing his players, new Red and Blue coach Luis Enrique conducted his first group session at Poissy. Still recovering, Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele and Nuno Mendes were the only players absent from the pitch on Tuesday. Having undergone the customary physical tests on Monday, the players who had played in their respective national team's most recent matches were present on the pitch, alongside new arrivals Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Manuel Ugarte, Lee Kang-In, Lucas Hernandez and Cher Ndour, the latest recruit and recently crowned European U19 champion with Italy, who was making his first appearance at the PSG Campus. The training session began with rondos, followed by various exercises.

FIRST TEST ON FRIDAY

Paris Saint-Germain will kick off their pre-season preparations with a friendly match on Friday 21 July at 5pm, in Poissy. The French champions will take on Le Havre, the reigning Ligue 2 champions. The first match at the start of the 2023-2024 season can be followed live on PSG TV Premium, on the Red and Blue's Twitch platform (access reserved for subscribers) and on beIN SPORTS.
