Fiorentina set to sign another former Manchester United star after successful De Gea move | OneFootball

Fiorentina had signed David De Gea as a free agent after he was deemed excess to requirements at Manchester United and his contract was allowed to run out. The move turned out to be a masterstroke at a time when the Spanish keeper’s stock was low and La Viola have reaped the benefits. Now as per TMW, they are set to repeat the trick with Victor Lindelof. Swedish centre-back Lindelof played over 200 times for United before having fallen out of favour over the last couple of years. Still only 31, he could play at a high level for a number of years still and could be an astute addition for Fiorentina. To sign him however, they might need to sell and the same report suggests that if a good offer for Pablo Mari was to come in, they would not stop him from leaving.
