Fiorentina make move for former Everton man Yerry Mina | OneFootball

Serie A side Fiorentina have shown an interest in landing defender Yerry Mina in the next few days.

According to an exclusive report by Alfredo Pedulla, Fiorentina are in the market to strengthen their defence and they have identified the signing of Yerry Mina as a serious possibility.

Negotiations are underway between the player’s entourage and the Viola as they search for a definitive agreement on salary and bonuses.

The Colombian defender is available to join a club on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Everton this past July. Apart from playing for The Toffees, the 28-year-old has experience with Barcelona during the season of 2017-18 where he could manage only six appearances.

Yerry Mina’s profile fits Fiorentina’s requirements and the player has reciprocated the club’s interest. An agreement is set to be reached soon as the Florence-based side gear up to play in the Conference League this season.
