Nico Williams is a priority for both Chelsea and Arsenal but the winger is “very comfortable” at Athletic Bilbao according to Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea are set for another busy summer and made Liam Delap their first summer signing, with more new faces set to arrive at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues face a critical summer and whilst they could add another striker they are also looking for a centre back and right footed attacker.
There’s set to be movement in the wides areas and Enzo Maresca is said to want five wingers in his squad next season.
Chelsea are thought to be open to offers for Noni Madueke, whilst Jadon Sancho has left the club after failing to agree a deal.
The Blues have been strongly linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, whilst there’s also been links with Williams.

Williams has been described as a “dream” target for Chelsea and Romano revealed to DAZN in Spain the 22-year-old is a priority for both Chelsea and Arsenal, but the Spaniard is very comfortable at Athletic Bilbao who want to renew his contract.
The Spain international has a release clause in his contract worth around €58m, but wages could be an issue and it’s been reported Williams wants £400,000 per week to move to the Premier League.
Williams scored 11 goals and registered seven assists from 45 appearances last season in all competitions and his future could be one of the main stories this summer.
Whilst a move for Williams will be difficult Chelsea seem to be progressing nicely in their pursuit of Gittens and hope to have a deal wrapped up for the Club World Cup.
