Earlier this year, PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig, and the Dutch midfielder has since attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.
As previously reported by Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig paid €80 million for Simons, with €55 million paid up front. The 22-year-old signed a contract running through June 2027, and PSG included a sell-on clause in the deal.
According to The Athletic’s Adam Crafton, PSG recently received €17 million (£15 million) from a sell-on clause tied to Hugo Ekitiké’s transfer, so a similar figure could be expected if Simons is sold.
Romano also reported that Chelsea are making strong progress in talks over personal terms with Simons. The midfielder is open to the move and interested in joining Chelsea, with direct negotiations ongoing to finalize a contract.

On Saturday, Romano reported that Chelsea and RB Leipzig are in advanced talks over Simons. The report adds that negotiations between the clubs are progressing well, with things moving in a positive direction despite some details still to be finalized.
Moreover, Simons is keen on the Chelsea project, and discussions over personal terms are well advanced.
CaughtOffside recently revealed that Simons could be available for around €60 million this summer and is open to moving to the Premier League. Discussions are underway about a potential transfer to London, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham all in the mix as possible destinations for the Netherlands international.
