Arsenal take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in today’s early Premier League kick-off.

The Gunners are seven points behind leaders Liverpool. They have the opportunity to reduce the gap before the Reds host Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

Manager Mikel Arteta will be forced into two changes with Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz sidelined with injuries.

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has been ever-present in goal for the Gunners in the Premier League. He will be aiming for a clean sheet from the Midlands trip.

It should be the same backline from recent games in front of him. Ben White is fit again after knee surgery, but he could be eased back into first-team action.

Jurrien Timber is poised to start at right-back. William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are guaranteed their places in central defence.

Myles Lewis-Skelly should continue at left-back ahead of Riccardo Calafiori amid his superb league form. He scored a brilliant maiden goal in the 5-1 win over Manchester City.

Thomas Partey is best suited for the number six role. Declan Rice is expected to start alongside captain Martin Odegaard.

Arteta has no room to rotate with Martinelli, Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus injured. Ethan Nwaneri, Leandro Trossard and Raheem Sterling are guaranteed to start against the Foxes.

Trossard could operate as the main striker, with Sterling in his preferred left-wing position. Nwaneri, described as a ‘big talent‘ by Arteta, looks poised to feature on the right wing.

The youngster has seven goals in his breakthrough campaign. He has netted two stunning long-range goals this year and will be aiming to enhance his reputation with another top display.
