Dan Ndoye is a name written in bold letters on Conte’s list, we told you that before anyone else. Napoli continue to work on it, knowing they are Ndoye’s first choice and also knowing that Nottingham Forest have put a huge salary on the table.

Napoli refuse to meet Bologna asking price for Ndoye

One thing needs to be cleared up, just to avoid certain one-sided stories getting out there – for whatever reason. As we reported on Wednesday, Napoli will present another offer but they have no intention of putting €45 million (including bonuses) on the table, plus a percentage of future resale.

That said, Bologna are well within their rights to ask for whatever fee they want.

In the meantime, while Napoli are still keeping tabs on the Ndoye situation, they are also continuing to explore other options.

The Swiss international scored eight goals and provided four assists in 30 Serie A games for Bologna last season. The 24-year-old also scored the team’s winning goal in their 1-0 Coppa Italia final victory over Milan.
