FC Barcelona have hardly shown any signs of stopping when it comes to improving their squad. For the Catalan giants, it is a major objective that they simply cannot afford to lose focus of. After all, Barcelona are aware that their opponents will be improving their squads as well.
At the moment, most of the attention is being paid towards the potential arrival of Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia. The Spaniard remains a top priority for Barcelona in terms of arrivals, and it is an operation that is considered to be very advanced.
However, while some players are not inherently placed on the transfer market, suitable offers or operations can convince clubs to let them go. In Barça’s case, it has come to our attention through our own sources that the German side Bayer Leverkusen and their new coach Erik ten Hag would be interested in signing two Barcelona players.
Sempre Barca has exclusively learned that those two players would be none other than Danish defender Andreas Christensen and Spanish midfielder Pablo Torre. Ten Hag now seems to want to sign them in order to improve the overall quality of his side heading into next season.

Both players reportedly offer their own unique strengths that the new Bayer Leverkusen coach seems to admire. In Christensen’s case, he would be seen as a positive reinforcement for the Bundesliga side’s defense and overall ability to play out from the back.
As for Pablo Torre, Ten Hag thinks that he could be developed into a much better player given the right opportunities and time. For his departure, Barcelona may consider a potential loan deal with an option to buy in order to keep tabs on his development.
Christensen, on the other hand, would likely only leave as a permanent transfer, and there are certain rumors hinting at a possible departure. To make that happen, as per our sources, Leverkusen would have to pay up a transfer fee around €15-20 million for the Danish defender. However, Barcelona seems reluctant to let go of him for now, despite the interest that many clubs seem to have in him.
