Josep Martinez has won praise for his “unbelievable” save on Che Adams in yesterday’s Serie A clash between Torino and Inter Milan.
As L’Interista highlight, the Spaniard got high scores in the player ratings for the match, although there was criticism for his shotstopping.
Josep Martinez started in goal for Inter Milan against Torino yesterday.
The Spanish international came in for Yann Sommer following the latter’s heroics in the Champions League during the week.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi showed that he is ready to put his trust in Martinez as an understudy to Sommer.

Josep Martinez did not necessarily have all that much to do yesterday at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
However, there was one particularly notable save from the 26-year-old.
Martinez had little time to react to an effort from Torino striker Che Adams.
Moreover, the rain had made the conditions on the pitch extremely difficult to deal with.
However, Martinez retained his composure and balance to get a hand to Adams’s shot.
The former RB Leipzig and Genoa keeper took one for the team as he fell awkwardly making the save in the slippery conditions.
However, it proved to be worth it as Martinez preserved Inter’s clean sheet and the team went on to win.
On the other hand, there were a couple moments when the Spaniard took too many chances with the ball under his feet.
With Torino players closing him down, Martinez risked giving the ball away for a certain goal a couple times.
