There is one European club now looking to sign a Chelsea defender in the January transfer window as things start to heat up.

Love them or hate them, we are soon going to be in another transfer window as we fizz through November now heading towards Christmas.

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League club make enquiry to sign Chelsea player that could lead to swap deal seeing striker going the other way!!

The winter window will open in January, and it presents another chance for clubs to improve what they have, or sell some players who they want to get rid of.

Usually though, the winter window is not overly active because clubs are hesitant to let players go midway through a season. They don’t want to disrupt things and also want to make sure they still have a big squad to go through the rest of the season with.

Chelsea are likely to perhaps sell one or two players, with Ben Chiwlell and Carney Chukwuemeka in my mind, but I can’t see any players who are playing right now, either in the league or in cup games, being sold in January.

Juventus want Badiashile

Badiashile not a starter in league games right now

Even still, Juventus are apparently showing an interest in signing centre back Benoit Badiashile in the January window.

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is eyeing a move for Badiashile in January. The Frenchman could be an ideal solution to Juventus’ defensive woes, offering experience and versatility at the back. Juventus believes that the 23-year-old could quickly adapt to their style of play, as he has shown promising performances at Chelsea and possesses qualities that would fit well into the Bianconeri system.

Badiashile has been a regular starter in cup games for Enzo Maresca’s side, so I can’t see him being allowed to go in January. I do however see him leaving the club in the summer window because he will want to be playing more regular league football, I am sure.
