Enzo Maresca is confident Chelsea will soon pick up maximum points from games against the Premier League's big boys after watching his side battle to a valiant 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
The Blues had previously lost to Manchester City and Liverpool - one game at home and one away - in their only two Premier League defeats of the season.
Maresca's side fell behind on the hour against Arsenal as Gabriel Martinelli punished lackadaisical defending from a floated Martin Odegaard cross, but earned a share of the spoils when Pedro Neto's drilled low finish bagged the Portuguese his first Premier League goal for Chelsea.
The result moved Chelsea up to third in the table, ahead of Nottingham Forest after they were downed 3-1 by Newcastle United at the City Ground, and Maresca was emphatic in his belief that victories against the top sides will come if his players continue to play in the same manner.
"I've said many times. Do you think we deserve to lose against Liverpool? No," the Italian said. "It's football, it can happen. Very soon, we are going to win these types of games. But in this moment, the performance is very important because if we draw tonight and you don't deserve the draw, then you are probably happy about the result.

"Bournemouth away we didn't deserve to win, and we did. Against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, we deserved to win, and we didn't. Soon we will win, the performance was good."
He continued: "We are very happy. For me we are behind these kinds of clubs like City and Arsenal. The reason why is because they work every single day in the last five years or nine years with the same manager, so we are behind them.
"This doesn't mean when we face them, we are not going to compete and try to win. Chelsea are one of the biggest clubs in Europe, in the world. Yes, we need to compete and try to win games. Tonight, we competed and tried to win the game and very soon we will win these kind of games.
"We played in the way we want to play on and off the ball. The game in some moments was open - anything can happen in both sides but for sure, 100%, we deserved a point and this is important."
