England star Michelle Agyemang rejoins Brighton | OneFootball

Michelle Agyemang will be back at Brighton for the 2025/26 campaign, with Arsenal opting to extend her loan despite her breakout performances at Euro 2025 with England.

The teenager impressed during her first year at the Amex, finding the net five times in 22 matches, which earned her a surprise call-up to Sarina Wiegman’s tournament squad.

She quickly became England’s go-to impact player, scoring crucial late equalisers against Sweden in the quarter-finals and Italy in the semis.

She also featured from the bench in the final against Spain, capping off a tournament where she was named Young Player of the Tournament.

Since then, Agyemang has been shortlisted for the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or.

Although her form suggested she might be ready to challenge for a place back at Arsenal, the Gunners have decided regular minutes with Brighton will benefit her more at this stage of her career.
