Terrible scenes at the Franchi Stadium in Florence where Fiorentina and Inter were scheduled to play this afternoon.

The match, however, was suspended due to a medical emergency involving Edoardo Bove.

The midfielder – on loan from Roma – collapsed on the pitch.

The medical staff and players immediately intervened around the player, awaiting the arrival of the ambulance.

The referee did not hesitate to suspend the match.
