Although the mercato is reaching its closing stages, there is still room to be active, and AC Milan could look to make some additions to the squad if departures are finalised.

In many ways, this summer has been filled with positives for Milan. There have been some nice additions made, and key areas have been worked on. However, you could argue that the timing for some additions has been poor, and several departures still need to be finalised.

Ultimately, though, time is still there to work, and there are plans to continue working until the closing of the window on both the incoming and outgoing fronts.

Silvano Vos has recently arisen as the Rossoneri’s latest interest, and things are going positively, with the young Dutchman agreeing on a deal this morning, according to reports. There has been another key topic of interest in recent days, and that is Rafael Leao’s situation.

Whilst the Diavolo have no interest in parting with the winger, Barcelona are ‘dreaming’ of adding him to their squad, and they could make some late attempts.

Di Marzio covered the topics of Barcelona’s interest in Leao, and Milan’s interest in Vos on Calciomercato – L’Originale, and his words have been relayed by Radio Rossonera.

Vos to Milan…

“Milan are close to Ajax 2005 midfielder Silvano Vos.”

A strong Leao denial…

“In Spain, they shot the news that Barcelona would be very close to Leao or that they wanted Leao anyway. We haven’t spoken about it because Milan’s line is that the number 10 is absolutely not to be sold. There are no negotiations and there is no desire on Milan’s part to put Leao on the market. For any amount of money.”
