Pundit Lee Hendrie has put an exciting proposition from Southampton's perspective. As per it, West Brom should permanently sign on-loan star Adam Armstrong.

In fact, it's Southampton is en route to achieving what they hoped for Adam Armstrong's loan move.

Recently, Derby County icon and pundit, Lee Hendrie, suggested what Southampton has been waiting for. And what is it? A permanent sale of Adam Armstrong.

As quoted by Football League World, Hendrie proposed Armstrong's permanent move, saying: "I think it would be a great purchase for West Brom if everything was right going forward, because he scores goals."

Though just a talked possibility till now, in case a move transcends, it would be very significant for Southampton.

Further, to note, from whom may this help come? It's from a previous Derby County man.

To say the least, the ties between Southampton and the Derby club just keep on strengthening. Notably, both of them fear relegation this season, then the Saints tied their unwanted tally and now the latter come to Southampton's help.

Now, definitely, not due to very positive reasons, but still, the relations between the two seem improving.

Hey, but that doesn't mean the Saints fall even further to accompany Derby who will be in League One this time.

For Southampton, a Championship promotion must come next season. Let's hope they achieve it.
