Coventry City produced a real statement victory on Tuesday night as they beat a previously unbeaten Blackburn Rovers side 3-0.

Despite Jake Bidwell, Haji Wright and Brandon Thomas-Asante each getting themselves on the scoresheet, one man may go unnoticed in his responsibility for the Sky Blues' dominance, Jack Rudoni.

According to WhoScored, the attacking midfielder from Sutton achieved 93.9% passing accuracy across the game, which he played in its entirety.

This was a season's best for Rudoni, who is beginning to seriously impress at his new side.

Rudoni joined the West-midlands club from relegated Huddersfield on a four-year deal in the summer. Having just turned 23 with 171 EFL games already under his belt, it was seen as a savvy signing.

The former AFC Wimbledon favorite has featured in every game so far for his new club, and while he only has two assists thus far to show for it, for fans watching him week-in-week-out, it has been clear from the offset that they have a special player on their hands.

While pass-completed statistics can often be misleading without context, it is the manor in which he plays that makes this performance so impressive.

Pass completion in the >90% region is usually reserved for central defenders or holding midfielders, but don't be fooled by his number 5 jersey, Jack Rudoni is an incredibly progressive play maker.

With exactly two per game, Rudoni finds himself fourth among the league's most prolific conventional play-makers, and not only is he the youngest player on the list, but he has also recorded the most minutes.

This impressive consistency has Coventry fans salivating, and if he were to keep up this level of performance, he would surely become one of the league's hottest young prospects.

A revitalized Coventry will play at home once again on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Ricoh Arena. Rudoni will be looking to add to his unfortunately meager return of two assists from 16 key-passes, and with some goal-scoring confidence regained within the camp, we may see just that.
