Côte d’Ivoire is gearing up for a prestigious friendly during the international window of March 2026. A high-profile exhibition match has been arranged against Germany.

An agreement has reportedly been reached between the German Football Association and its Ivorian counterpart to organize a friendly clash on March 30, 2026, at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart.

The two national teams will meet 16 and a half years after their only previous encounter, which ended in a 2-2 draw on November 18, 2009, in Munich.

This showdown could serve as preparation for the 2026 World Cup, provided both teams secure qualification for the footballing spectacle.
