CorSport: Conceicao to keep things simple for Milan’s crucial Napoli clash | OneFootball

Sergio Conceicao will not be making any experiments during AC Milan’s important game against Napoli on Sunday evening, according to a report.

Milan are currently six points behind a top-four finish and in order to keep their hopes alive, a win is absolutely needed against Napoli tomorrow. As such, according to Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), Conceicao will keep things simple.

The Coppa Italia semi-final against Inter, scheduled for Wednesday, will not be taken into consideration until Monday morning, meaning there will be no rested players. This goes against what Gazzetta dello Sport reported earlier this morning.

Conceicao almost has a full squad at his disposal, with Emerson Royal still injured and Yunus Musah suspended, so he will be able to field a strong XI. The only doubt is in defence, with Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic battling it out.

In attack, it will be the usual trio of Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders and Rafael Leao, while Tammy Abraham should complete the attack given his positive form lately. In short, there will be nothing ‘special’ about Milan’s tactics on Sunday, instead Conceicao will rely on the strengths of this team.
