Corinthians manager Dorival Júnior has finalized his plans for Saturday’s home fixture against Vitória, making key adjustments to his starting lineup in response to recent injuries. The main headline is the absence of André Carrillo, who has been ruled out after sustaining a left hamstring injury following the club’s defeat to Huracán earlier in the week. Imaging revealed muscle damage, leaving the Peruvian attacker unavailable.

To lead the line, Dorival turns to Héctor Hernández, who steps in as starting striker. Héctor’s inclusion, along with Talles Magno, brings fresh energy up front, compensating for the continued absence of Yuri Alberto, who remains sidelined and in the care of the medical staff. Gustavo Henrique also joins the injury list, further impacting squad depth.

In midfield, Maycon and Raniele anchor the center alongside Breno Bidon, offering support for the attacking trio of Talles Magno, Memphis Depay, and Héctor Hernández. The defence sees Hugo Souza in goal, protected by a back four of Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Cacá, and Matheus Bidu.

One notable decision comes on the bench: Rodrigo Garro, often seen as a creative spark, starts among the substitutes rather than in the opening eleven. With Memphis Depay available again, Dorival opts for experience and adaptability in the attacking midfield role.

Corinthians’ full starting lineup: Hugo Souza; Matheuzinho, André Ramalho, Cacá, Matheus Bidu; Raniele, Maycon, Breno Bidon; Talles Magno, Memphis Depay, Héctor Hernández.

Opponents Vitória, led by Thiago Carpini, line up with Lucas Arcanjo; Claudinho, Edu, Lucas Halter, Zé Marcos, and Jamerson across the defence; Baralhas, Ronald, and Lucas Braga in midfield; with Janderson and Renato Kayzer leading the attack.

Kick-off at Neo Química Arena is set for 18:30 (Brasília time), with Felipe Fernandes de Lima appointed as the match referee. The adjustments to the Corinthians starting eleven reflect the side’s ongoing battles with injuries, as well as Dorival’s willingness to rotate and trust new faces as the Brasileiro season enters a crucial phase.
