Altay Bayindir and Harry Amass both start their first Premier League game for Manchester United this afternoon as the Red Devils take on Noewcastle United at St. James Park.

With a crucial Europa League second leg clash against Lyon on Thursday, Ruben Amorim has rotated his side, but Onana’s absence could be seen in a more significant context after his two errors in the first leg.

The back three is also changed, with Victor Lindelof coming in alongside Leny Yoro and Noussair Mazraoui.

Diogo Dalot remains at right wing back with Amass on the left.

The midfield duo will probably be Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.

Christian Eriksen, Josh Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho are the front three.

It is possible that Eriksen will play alongside Ugarte with Fernandes more advanced.

The substitutes include Ayden Heaven, who makes a welcome return back from injury, but there is no space for Chido Obi, who many expected would play after his omission from the Under 18s and Under 21s this weekend.

The rest of the bench comprises Tom Heaton, Harry Maguire, Patrick Dorgu, Casemiro, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund.

Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt, Amad and Toby Collyer are still injured.

A win for United would close the gap on Crystal Palace and Brentford to two points as they aim to clamber a few places up the table.

Kick off at St James is at 4.30pm.
