Manchester United welcome Brighton & Hove Albion in today’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils recently ended a four-match winless league streak with a 3-1 victory over Southampton.
They were second-best for more than 75 minutes, but Amad Diallo saved their blushes with a maiden career hat-trick.
United face a sterner challenge against the Seagulls. The players need to turn up with a better showing to secure three points.
Brighton have been a bogey club for the Red Devils. United have suffered five defeats in the previous six top-flight meetings.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Predicted Line-up:
Andre Onana has been an undisputed starter in the Premier League for United. He was brilliant against the Saints with several crucial saves. He is assured his place in goal.
The back three could witness one change with Leny Yoro making way for Harry Maguire. Yoro was run ragged by Kamaldeen Sulemana. He was easily dribbled past.
Maguire is poised to partner Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez in central defence.
With Diogo Dalot back from suspension, he could start from the left wing-back role. This obviously means Noussair Mazraoui will move into his regular right wing-back position.
Kobbie Mainoo was taken off at the interval against the Saints after failing to win any duel. He could be given a breather. Toby Collyer deserves to start after a lively cameo display.
Manuel Ugarte was likewise substituted early in the second half on Thursday, but Amorim may want additional defensive assurance against a high-pressing side in Brighton.
Further forward, Alejandro Garnacho could drop to the bench to compensate for Amad Diallo, who started from the right wing-back position against the Saints in midweek.
Diallo was exceptional in the closing stages after pushing into an advanced attacking role.
He should line up alongside captain Bruno Fernandes in the attacking midfield positions.
Joshua Zirkzee deserves to lead the attack amid Rasmus Hojlund’s poor form up front.
The Dutchman has not scored regularly, but provides more with his better link-up play.
