Christopher Nkunku wants to join Bayern as Chelsea consider swap deal for Mathys Tel | OneFootball

According to a report from Florian Plettenberg, Christopher Nkunku  (27) wants to join Bayern Munich from Chelsea FC. The two clubs may be interested in doing a swap deal with Chelsea keen to sign Mathys Tel (19).

However, as Plettenberg writes the deal could prove to be complicated and some parties are unsure whether it can be completed before the transfer window closes on the 3rd of February. It’s also added that a lot could rest on the decision of Tel and whether he would like to join the London club.

Nkunku’s time at Chelsea has been rumoured to be coming to an end. The Frenchman has struggled to settle into the club, his first season was blighted with injuries while in his second, his head coach Enzo Maresca has not fully trusted the striker. The Chelsea man has been linked with a return to his formative club Paris Saint-Germain.
