Isla Navidad, Colima.- Chivas Femenil's second joint training session in the Rojiblanca preseason took place with very good vibes, alongside Chivas Femenil Sub 19, which ended in favor of the First Team with a score of 5-0.
Four 30-minute halves were played, which were very beneficial for both the teams and Antonio Contreras' coaching staff, who, in addition to observing their players, were able to closely follow more profiles from the Rojiblanca youth academy.
Despite the intense heat on the pitch, which reached 31°C with 80 percent humidity, both Chiverío and the young Rebaño engaged in a contest focused on improving ahead of the first day of their respective competitions.
After hitting the post three times in the first half, the first team scored a goal in a team effort that reflected what the Rojiblancas had been working on during their seven-day stay in the port city of Colima. In addition, the set pieces that distinguished the Guadalajara team last semester were also on display.
After the match, both teams enjoyed some refreshing coconuts together, yet another example of Club Guadalajara's commitment to promoting women's soccer in all its categories.
Our team has two days of training left before returning to the Pearl of the West. This Sunday, July 6, Guadalajara will have its last practice before starting its journey in the 2025 Apertura of the Liga MX Femenil, when it visits Atlas at La Academia.
The goals
- In the 40th minute, a collective play from the start progressed down the right and diagonally into the area, finding Kinberly Guzmán, who sent it into the penalty spot on her first touch.- In the 54th minute, the rebound from a free kick that hit the post fell to 'Licha' Cervantes, who calmly controlled the ball and scored the Rojiblancas' second goal.- In the 81st minute, the Rebaño's set piece tactic came into play, with a precise pass from 'Caro' Jaramillo to 'Boyi' Iturbide, who headed the ball into the Rojiblanca Cantera's net. - In the 101st minute, 'Comandante' found herself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and beat her after a pinpoint pass over the top from Natalia Villarreal.- In the 115th minute, 'Montse' Hernández received the ball on the right, beat two defenders to get into the area and, with the goalkeeper closing in, fired a shot into the near post.
