Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sánchez.

The Blues have been on the hunt for a new shot-stopper after Edouard Mendy left for Saudi Arabia earlier in the summer.

And now the west London club have announced the arrival of the Seagulls goalkeeper on a seven-year deal.

The deal is reported to have cost Chelsea in the region of €30m.

The 25-year-old has spent five years at the Amex where he played 87 times in the Premier League.

It’s been a busy few days for Mauricio Pochettino’s side with Axel Disasi signing on Friday and Levi Colwill confirming his future at the club on Wednesday.
