Chelsea are reportedly interested in making a move to sign 20-year-old midfielder Reda Belahyane from Hellas Verona in January as a potential replacement for Cesare Casadei, who has been strongly linked with a return to Italy this month.
According to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea are ‘pushing’ to complete a deal with Verona this month, which is expected to cost the Premier League side somewhere in the region of €15m.

The 20-year-old has made a strong impression in Serie A following his summer transfer from Ligue 1 side Nice, where he spent five years of his youth career. Reports claim that Verona paid a fee of around €500,000 to bring him over from France in the summer. The youngster has since enjoyed interest from both Milan and Inter.
Now valued at over 30 times the amount that Verona paid for him less than a year ago, Belahyane could leave the Gialloblu as early as January.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Belahyane could become Chelsea’s replacement for Cesare Casadei, who has been linked with moves to both Lazio and Torino this month.
