Manchester United are reportedly interested in Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku, who is said to be unhappy with his limited starting opportunities at the club, according to L’Équipe.
Paris Saint-Germain may also be eyeing a move for the French attacker. Last month, Nkunku was asked by Téléfoot whether his former club had shown any interest in bringing him back to the Parc des Princes.
“A Nkunku-Barcola duo at PSG?,” Nkunku laughed. “I don’t know what to say about that. But PSG is still a big club. Any approach this summer? No, no, no. I’ve always said there was no approach.”
Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany also reported this week that Nkunku isn’t planning a transfer this winter. However, if his situation doesn’t improve by the summer, he could consider leaving Chelsea.
The Telegraph Football adds that Chelsea would be willing to sell Nkunku in January, but only if they can recoup the £52 million they paid for him.

Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke reports that Nkunku is open to the idea of a transfer to Manchester United.
Nkunku first joined PSG’s first team in 2015 before moving to RB Leipzig in 2019. During his time in the Bundesliga, he made 172 appearances, scored 70 goals, and provided 56 assists.
However, his stint at Chelsea hasn’t gone as expected. Nkunku has spent much of his time playing in the UEFA Europa Conference League and the EFL Cup, with just 152 minutes across nine Premier League appearances.
