Chelsea are reportedly now pushing the hardest to sign a Turkish international winger who has 14 career goals so far.
The news comes off the back of Chelsea getting an essential three points on Saturday afternoon by beating Everton 1-0 at home after a fantastic first half goal from striker Nicolas Jackson ending his 2025 goal draught.
It was far from an easy game for Chelsea though, and goalkeeper Robert Sanchez became the unlikely hero and was actually the reason that they could see the win out and collect all three points, making some big second half saves to deny certain goals.
Another one of Chelsea’s best players on the pitch was defender Trevoh Chalobah and really, he was a strong candidate for man of the match too. Enzo Maresca defended Chelsea’s decision to let him go on loan in the summer after then recalling him in the winter.
Chelsea will be very active again in the summer transfer market at the end of this season, with a number of new positions being looked at by the club.
One of those positions will be a new winger, and Chelsea have been linked with Juventus star Kenan Yildiz.

Chelsea are in for the 19-year-old Turkish international this summer, and Caught Offside have an exclusive out on this story.
They claim that Chelsea now look to be pushing hardest to sign Yildiz, though Juventus don’t want to let the talented young Turkey international leave.
The Serie A giants will demand as much as €100m for Yildiz, who is also on the radar of other top Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
So I guess we can rule that one out then – nobody is paying that much!
