Chelsea have an ‘easier’ transfer target up top this summer but they might not even be able to land him per the latest report out.
Chelsea played last night too. The Blues beat Copenhagen 2-1 away from home in the first leg of their round of 16 clash in the Conference League last night, but it was not a good performance at all from Enzo Maresca’s side.
There was some positives of course, especially with the two goals. A lovely finish by Reece James was followed up by some good work by youngster Tyrique George to assist Enzo Fernandez to score the second goal.
But unfortunately there were more negatives than positive, with one being Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who was once again just terrible, there is no other way to describe it.
They certainly didn’t look much like the most expensive squad ever assembled in football, which is what UEFA have found them to be this week.
Attentions will soon turn to the summer transfer window as well, with a new striker expected to be on the agenda.

We have seen big names like Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, and Benjamin Sesko all linked with Chelsea in recent times, but there is one option I see as ‘easier’ to get, and that is Liam Delap, who is clearly a Blues target as well.
However, getting him might not be all that easy and Champions League football could be a must to be able to land him.
That is according to The Athletic reporter David Ornstein, who has been speaking about it this week.
He said on Chelsea’s interest in the Ipswich striker:
“I revealed the Delap interest in November, but Chelsea aren’t his only suitors. I suspect there’s a good chance his next move is to a Champions League club, and if so, that is a factor yet to be determined.”
