Earlier this year, PSG sold Xavi Simons to RB Leipzig, and the Dutch midfielder has attracted interest this summer from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to a previous report from Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig paid €80 million for Simons, with €55 million up front. The 22-year-old signed a contract through June 2027, and PSG included a sell-on clause in the deal.
Meanwhile, CaughtOffside reported Saturday, citing sources, that Simons is available for around €60 million this summer and is open to a move to the Premier League.
Early discussions have already begun regarding a potential switch to London, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur all being explored as possible destinations for the Netherlands international.

On Monday, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Chelsea are holding further talks with Simons’ camp this evening. The club are seriously interested and pushing to reach a verbal agreement.
RB Leipzig are open to selling him and want a total package worth at least €70 million. Chelsea, however, are hoping to negotiate a lower fee. If a deal with Chelsea doesn’t materialize, other clubs are ready to step in.
Moreover, Romano reported Friday that Chelsea and Arsenal are among the clubs closely monitoring Xavi Simons this summer. Simons is expected to leave Leipzig—a decision that’s been clear since May—and several top Premier League sides are well aware of the situation.
That said, no formal offers or negotiations have taken place yet. As for Barcelona, Romano says nothing concrete is happening on that front.
